Administrative Assistant (Part-time, Permanent)
We are seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist our Executive Assistant with providing administrative support and ensuring efficient office operations.
Potential for full-time hours in March and April during personal tax season.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist with administrative tasks relating to accounting and tax services, including but not limited to information gathering, processing, assembly and delivery of year ends and tax returns
- Perform general office duties such as data entry, scanning and filing, and maintaining records
- Answer and direct phone calls with professionalism and courtesy
- Communicate with tax authorities and clients
- Coordinate client meetings
- Gather ideas for social media
Experience:
- Previous experience in an administrative role; completion of an office/business administration program an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and PDF software
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Collaborative team player
Additional info:
- 15-22.5 hours/week (2-3 days/week)
- $18-$22 per hour
- Flexible schedule (within the Monday to Friday, 8:30-5:00 office hours)
